A in the longhedge / Latchmere road area. It is of the bridge carrying the 'new line' Up fast into London Victoria, going over the lines from Stewarts Lane / Factory junction towards Clapham junction. Taken from an overground train heading towards Factory junction having departed Clapham Junction.

That they are all on the Overground is part of it, the electrification method is not relevant to what we're looking for on this occasion

One possibility for odd one out is Highams Park as the only one where LO is the exclusive passenger train operator through the area.

Location D: Between Carpenders Park and Hatch End - Little Oxhey Lane overbridge [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Highams Park isn’t the odd one out, it has nothing to do with exclusivity of stations served, power supply or rolling stock.

'A' is south of the Thames, but I expect it's not that either...

The Thames has no bearing on the answer.

B is the odd one out as the only level crossing, all the others are bridges?
Let location C load before you come up with a theory...

Either because Highams Park has a level crossing being the odd one out, or because the location between Euston and South Hampstead doesn't cross paths with a road or anything else.

It's already been noted that Highams Park isn't the odd one out. C is the odd one out, but roads and paths are not relevant.

Nope, it's not related to the proximity or otherwise of any form of transport
