The domed building in location A looks like Old College at RMA Sandhurst with the gateway flying the RAF pennant looking like RAF Uxbridge. The patch of water in location C looks rather like Studland Bay down by Poole.

D is Cannonbury
Inset D2 is the Kay Monument Bury.
Inset A1 is a Lime Bike
Inset C2 is Meridian Water Station

Link between insets and mains is that the first word of the first inset plus part of the second inset make up the name of the location.
Inset D1 is a canon, and D2 is in Bury making Canonbury; A1 is a Lime bike A2 something house (it looks very familiar but I can’t place it), making Limehouse etc.
