Well I suppose that its not surprising that this is happening, as the non-motorised models have already been available to buy.
But what next?
Standard Stock? Gate Stock?
2024 tube stock?

Gate stock, hopefully, seeing as how the 'real thing' is unlikely to be ressurected.

I doubt there would be much of a market for gate stock to make it worth the expense of production.
I expect we may see 2024 stock in the future if it is rolled out over several lines but it would be a real challenge to build in 4mm scale especially with the cantilevers.
My bet would be 1967/72 stock for tube trains and perhaps bogie stock for the sub surface trains.
We might see Dreadnoughts but I wonder if a stock that is still used at events might take priority?

I can see the 2024 stock being done in OO eventually since it's gonna be quite significant like the S stock

A 5-car version for the Waterloo & City seems a possibility. 3-car would be a minimum given the wheel-less intermediate cars.

I would imagine a 5 car formation would be suitable for most layouts being a similarish length to a 4 car train of S Stock.
Additional Motor/Bridging pairs would probably be available to lengthen trains like the S stock.
I wonder if any other releases using the chassis will be produced like the Isle of Wight two car sets?

A W&C 5-car train would have 3 conventional cars with 2 wheel-less cars between, so two coupled would be 6+4=10 cars. The current W&C 4-car trains are half a Central Line train, but the next Central Line trains will be 11 cars, i.e. 6+5. So the coming W&C trains will be shorter than the current ones, which were shorter that the Southern Railway trains they replaced! The Picc build is 5+4=9 cars which is slightly shorter than the current Bakerloo 7-car trains, but much longer than the 6-car trains they will replace.
