Any trains BOOKED to reverse at wood green nowadays. I remember last year when there was weekend engineering at Arnos Grove, the service did reverse there.

None in the working timetable. But there are always several unscheduled Wood Green reversers many days when trains are running late, to make up time!!! The engineering works you mention, where there was no service Wood Green to Cockfosters, that will be repeated again this year 24th/25th June and 1st/2nd July

But there are always several unscheduled Wood Green reversers when trains are running late, Several ? LOL depending on which controller is on , and how competent or incompetent he/she is . wood green can be a saving grace for them . esp if arnos gets like spaghetti junction which happens all the time when the picc is broken speaking of which , during this mornings peak, there was a shut down at earls court with a train with a main line burst, when i finished at 9pm this evening, the l/c was STILL trying to get the service back to timetable, some 13 hours later

Yesterday morning on the Picc line was a bad mess. Some of my colleagues who use the Picc line to get into work from North London were delayed by 90 minutes they tell me.
When I got a train into town from Arnos Grove around 9am, there were big gaps between trains, but at least there were trains running at that point.
If I had complete free reign (and loads of money), I'd rebuild Holloway Road station to enable it to handle the crowds at the new Arsenal station, but also install some extra reversing capacity there, which I'm sure would be used extensively from day one!
