I travelled to Clapham Common Station yesterday evening and noticed that the tunnel lights were on between Clapham North and Clapham Common.

I was on the Victoria line this morning. The scrolling display stated that the central line was suspended between Liverpool Street and Woodford, but the voice-over stated between Liverpool Street and Leytonstone.

That looks like a great historical map. I don't think I've ever seen it before. Where is it from? Are you able to share more of it? Sorry to be asking so many questions.

The connections were at Drapers Field, between Leyton and the Central line tunnel mouths. I don't think that I had ever heard of track connections actually at Stratford itself.

My first thought for the main picture was Down Street, not that I have visited that station.

I agree that it is the Central line, looks more like an ex GER station out east somewhere.

The windows give it away as on the Central line, but I am not sure where. At or near Woodford Station?

Is D near Nine Elms? I can think of various Elms and Oaks, but not any other trees on the Underground, although Poplar is on the DLR. The link: I can't see the Bois for the trees.

Edgware Road (Met Rly)+1. Bonus answer is to celebrate the final signaller of the cabin before it was shut.

It might be Bond Street. (Which is named after a non-existent road: there is a New Bond Street and an Old Bond Street) Happy New Quiz!

There are six stations where you can reach platforms with another name: Bank (Monument) Hackney Downs (Hackney Central) Liverpool Street (Moorgate & London Liverpool Street <which feels cheating>) White City (Wood Lane - OSI) Northwick Park (South Kenton - OSI) West Hampstead (West Hampstead Thameslink - OSI) Wanstead Park (Forest Gate - OSI)
But taking any four of those out, and then four parks, doesn't leave me with a set with any obvious connections.

Thank you for the connecting wall. Can I get the ball rolling by noticing that there are at least four stations with "Out of Station Interchanges": White City, Northwick Park, Wanstead Park and West Hampstead.

Fulham Broadway Station is closed at the moment due due to a fire alarm. I have just been through it on a train and I noticed that on the Wimbledon-bound platform, the DMIs are displaying "Non-stopping train" with the minutes, rather than the destination. I think this is rather clever.

B is Barking Riverside, C is Wimbledon. I suspect the link has something to do with termini. Edgware is a terminus in zone 5, Barking Riverside in zone 4, Wimbledon in zone 3. Is D a zone two terminus, which could make Battersea Power Station the first alphabetically in zone 1.

I am so sorry, I cannot now attend the Christmas social. Instead, I will be at a memorial service for an LGBTQ+ trailblazer who I first met when I was a student. With best wishes to all who get to socialise in person.
