I have been doing some research and at the TNA I found reference to a connection under a platform the document did not mention the actual station anyone know anymore detail? Going by some of the people (Rail technician etc) I am hoping for a pointer in the right direction.

ADMIN:
I hope this makes sense to somebody: if there's no reply in a couple of days I'll delete it, because the post is far too vague as to what and where.

Do you mean the movable platform at the original CLR Wood Lane station which allowed the conection into the depot?

As some sort of clue, what archive file was this in, and what was the context of the 'connection' reference?

Could this have something to do with the reconstruction of either Baker St or Trafalgar Square in the 70s--coinciding with the introduction of the Jubilee line?

Are not the CAB files Cabinet - ie Government files? They'd probably delete themselves in a few days then

;D
Well; I think that the file could be referring to (Sh! Sh! Sh!) the large (secretish) underground (even more secretish) telephone exchanges. A trawl of SUBBRIT would probably provide some answers, although I can't remember exactly where - akin to GUARDIAN exchange in Manchester.
