I'm starting to build up information about the 1967/72 tube stock. I am quietly looking into making a model of the stock, especially as the Metromodels trains are on hold for the distant future.
Are the bogies similar to the 1959/62 stock bogies, but have the secondary suspension upright tube, similar to the C69/77 and D78 stock?
Thanks

They're similar but not identical,the 67,72 & 73TS are identical.C69/77 are just a bigger version.

They're similar but not identical, the 67,72 & 73TS are identical. The 73s have a slightly more stretched body than the 67/72s.

the 59/62 stock bogies were not symmetrical about the bolster. they only had one motor per bogie and so the bolster was offset so as to increase the weight on the motored axle. they also have 8 brake blocks per bogie. 1967/72/73 stock bogies have 2 motors per bogie (or none) and so the bolster is in the centre of the bogie. they also only have 4 brake blocks per bogie.

So the 1938/56/59/62 stock bogies were asymmetrical like the O/P/Q38/R stock bogies that also had one motor per bogie. Thanks guys
