I'm fairly sure one of them is Chancery Lane, but with both pics having steps going down, I can't say if it's the landscape one or the portrait!
(And no - I haven't been told the answers.)

Definitely Chancery Lane for the main image from the buildings on the left which means the overlay is obscuring Grays Inn Road but I can't place the overlay.

I didn't think this one would be solved, but again I'm astounded! Station A: Chancery Lane - exit 2 [Chris M] Station B: Warwick Avenue - northeastern entrance [Chris M] *Click either image for a larger version* The "Cherie Must Quit" headline matches 16 May 2008. Close!

I didn't think this one would be solved, but again I'm astounded! Well if you will pick a station a big chunk of forum members walked past on the way to the pub after the Circle Line party at Christmas! ;D ;D

Spot on You can read the two headline stories, and others from the day, at www.thisislondon.co.uk/archive/2008/05/15/No tube bashing on that particular Thursday but plenty of doom and gloom about violence and how the youth of today are all criminals.
