There is also the reason why these links were chosen for today that needs identifying. The insets in image A are numbered from left to right. The insets in image D are numbered per the diagram below:

A is Marylebone B no ideaa C is Euston (+1) D could be Paddington (no idea on any of the bonus points)
B doesn't look like it's a National rail terminus, whereas my other three guesses are.. so is that the odd one out?

Rumour has it that the photo superimposed on picture 3 is a sneak preview of the District Dave Administrators team at the dress rehearsal for their stunning live performance down the pub after the Acton open day. Don't tell their wives

I'll come back to this when it's a little less hectic here, but between you, you have the bulk of the answers, and at least one link.......

A bit calmer here now. Right, all the main locations are done, and a few of the insets. We still need the link between the main stations and the odd one out. Station A: Marylebone - entrance from mainline station [Chris M] Insets: Station B: Paddington - Disused footbridge between H&C platforms and mainline platforms 13/14 [Chris M] Background: Cardiff Bay Barrage [Chris M] Station C: Euston - Welcome to the Underground [Rincew1nd] Station D: Victoria - roundels from bus station [Chris M] Inset 1: Inset 2: Inset 3: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch railway station [Chris M] Inset 4: Swansea University Institute of Life Sciences (ILS) Building reflected in Singleton Park Boating Lake [Chris M] *Click any image for a larger version* The insets were correctly identified as all being in Wales.

Link is that the WSMR run a service from Marylebone to Wales. They trick people into thinking it's a little family run company, but it's owned by Deutch Bahn Regio! And also announced yesterday that Trenau Arriva Cymru have had their application to run a service from West Wales to London turned down as it would threaten WSMR. Quite how that helps competition and the best for customers beats me!

The four main pictures are all London termini, originally at least partially owned by railway companies that owned lines in Wales (the GWR was a part owner of Victoria, the GCR had taken over the WM&CQ)
Victoria is the odd one out as not having through services to Wales.

Spot on! The reason for this link was that of course it was St. David's Day on March 1st.
