A couple of Some (interesting) ones: Upney is the only station on the District Line to contain none of the letters of the word "District" Maida Vale is the only station with none of the letters of "North" Archway has none from "United Kingdom", Bow Church has nothing from "England", every station has at least one letter from "Scotland" and "Ireland", four (Borough, Brixton, Hornchurch and Richmond) have none from Wales. Temple is the only one with no letters from "Sarah Siddons", it also uniquely lacks any from "Canary Wharf" Oxford Circus and Woodford have none from the "Alphabet". Woodford also lacks any from "Queen Elizabeth II" Aldage and Temple have none from "Boris Johnson" while Archway escapes "Ken Livingstone" Balham has none from "Underground", St Paul's and Vauxhall are not part of the "Combine" Chigwell is lacking in "Transport" There are no "lions" at Archway, Edgware or Mudchute Epping, Pinner and Upney are places to avoid "football" Kilburn and Woodford wont get flooded by the "Thames" Shepherd's Bush has nothing from "Nation", and you wont find Pimlico in a "thesaurus" There is only one month that has a single station with no shared letters - St Paul's and "November" Dollis Hill is the only one with nothing from "France", and the only one with nothing from "Germany" Debden is the furthest from "Portugal" and from "Austria" Woodford and "Lithuania" don't have anything in common, neither do Oakwood and the "Czech Republic", nor Loughton and "Serbia" Bank and the "Isle of Wight" also share little other than their trains.
And now I'm late!

Neither Amersham, Baker Street or Hammersmith has anything to do with London. Vauxhall is related to Opel Balham is nowhere near Underground You cannot reach Woodford from Mill Hill East And Canning Town is not related to DLR!

For those of you with the taste for expensive bikes - 'Triumph Speed Triple' eliminates everything but the Bank. ;D 'Team Cheese Racing' eliminates everything....... ;D

Norwegians, Roumanians, Austrians, Americans and Australians get everywhere; Germans avoid Dollis Hill and Russians and Africans Temple; while the Romans and Normans avoided Chigwell and White City. Brazilians get to everywhere on the Underground, but not to Mudchute.

Rare that I agree with Colin, but hey ho. As to Erikho, you can get from the Central to MHE, change at TCR or Bank for a Barnet and change at Finchley Central. Unless I am a being a bit dim.

You wont find Lenny Henry at Oakwood, Victoria Wood at Upney, Alan Davis at Borough or Bow Church, Ronnie Corbet at Vauxhall, Tony Hawks at Redbridge or Uxbridge nor Andy Parsons at Chigwell. Sandi Toksvig and Kenneth Williams get everywhere though.
Shadwell is the only place out of reach of the "RMT union", "TSSA union" and "ASLEF union" cover everywhere though. Balham and Vauxhall are not "congested" while Balham and Bank are the only ones without "Good service", "minor delays" and "severe delays" extend everywhere.
There's no "wombling" at Surrey Quays, nor can you "wander" to Vauxhall. "Retailers" and "customers" but there's still no economy at Ruislp, St Paul's and Vauxhall. Balham and Vauxhall again team up, this time to avoid the reach of "Downing Street". Woodford is out the grasp of a "hung parliament", "Labour" miss Epping and White City. Balham, Bank and Vauxhall are beyond the "Tories", but the "Liberal Democrats" get everywhere, and the "Green Party" can't take Dollis Hill. Aldgate and Edgware are free from "Communism" while "capitalism" leaves 5 stations in the cold, "democracy" encompasses all and "dictators" will have to be content with just Upney.
No "Blue Peter" at Oakwood, no "Newsround" or "Underground Ernie" at Balham but "Thomas the Tank Engine" reaches everyone. Westferry is the only station not in "Cloud cuckoo land", there's no "Narnia" winter for Mudchute, Stockwell or Temple, while "Gallifery" is everywhere except St John's Wood; and Woodford is not on "planet Vulcan".
"When in Rome" try St Paul's. Fancy a trip to "Edinburgh" - start at Oval, "Canterbury" - Dolis Hill, "Liverpool" - Bank, or "Manchester" - Woodford.
Kilburn is neither on the "East Coast" nor "West Coast"

... and a St James's Park. You won't find a "badger" at Pimlico and they will also be kept out of Hoxton.

Balham, Clapham Common, Oval and Wapping are not in Surrey (along with a handful of others north of the Thames).
Borough is the only station south of the Thames which is not in Middlesex.

Bank is the only one not in Hertfordshire, while Berkshire extends to everywhere except Acton Town and Oval. Buckinghamshire is everywhere.
"City Airport" is not at Debden, and Archway isn't on "television"
"Mount Snowdon" is a long way from Perivale, "Scafell Pike" misses Borough and Northwood, but "Ben Nevis" misses 12.
Upney isn't in "Bristol", Bank isn't in "Gloucestershire", "Herefordshire" or "Worcestershire". Balham is not a "West Country" station, there's no "Welshmen" at Victoria nor "Scotsmen" at Vauxhall, while Woodford lacks an "Englishman" and any "magicians" and the "Irishmen" are everywhere except Oakwood and Oval. "Parisians" and "librarians" avoid Mudchute, "Chinamen" and "Mancunians" Woodford, and "pharmacists" Debden. Pimlico is also a bad place for "bankers" and their "daughters".
Oakwood isn't "Electric blue", Balham and Bank aren't "Turquoise", Pimlico isn't "Sea green", "rail blue" never made it to St John's Wood. Dollis Hill escapes the "pea green", but it is Pimlico that escapes "grass green" and Redbridge the "autumnal colours".
"Bolo House" is not at Wapping and "55 Broadway" isn't at Epping or Temple.
Debden and Mile End don't appear in "photographs", there are no "engravers" at Pimlico nor "sculptors" at Bank and Debden. "Impressionists" stay clear of Vauxhall, while the "expressionists" avoid Balham and you'll not find a "beat combo" in Ruislip nor any "folk rockers" in Wapping.
I wouldn't build an "ice hotel", "distillery" or "middle school" at Bank, a "casino" at Temple, "amusements" at Woodford, a "supermarket" at Hillingdon, a "railroad" at Upney, a "university" at Blaham or Oakwood, a "primary school", "sports hall" or "Olympic park" at Debden, a "town hall" at Redbridge or Uxbridge, a "viaduct" at Bromley-by-Bow or (amusingly) at Holborn, a "motorway" at Debden or Epping, a "playing field" at Bow Church, nor "bus shelters" at Oakwood or Wapping. Oakwood is also a bad place for "cruise liners" and "leisure centres".
"Iceland" and Borough aren't on speaking terms, the "Arctic" extends to everywhere except Debden and Upney; Borough is not in the "West Midlands" and Maida Vale is not "up north" (in contrast to Elm Park and Perivale which aren't "down south").
You wont find any "poppy fields", "willow trees" or "horticulture" at Bank, "daffodils" at Upney, "herb gardens" (or even "gardeners") at Pimlico, "grassy knolls" at Mudchute, or "compost heaps" at Kilburn.
"Scuba diving" isn't recommended at Temple, nor "deep sea diving" at Bow Church. Archway and Moor Park lack "diving bells", but "snorkels" are fine everywhere and "Crocodiles" wont bother you at Bank.

Bank is not in Ruislip Depot, while Balham and Vauxhall are not in Cockfosters Depot.
Epping and Upney do not support Barrack Obama Amersham, Edgware, and Surrey Quays did not support Bill Clinton Temple did not support Richard Nixon Ruislip and St Pauls did not support John F Kennedy Wapping did not support Herbert Hoover Bank and Wapping did not support either Roosevelt (Theodore or Franklin) Bounds Green, Debden, Gunnersbury, Queensbury, and Upney did not support William H Taft You cannot find ExxonMobil in Archway. Likewise you cannot find Chevron in St Pauls.

and there's no jobs in : Aldgate, Angel, Archway, Canada Water, Canary Wharf, Chalk Farm, Chancery Lane, Chigwell, Dagenham Hthway, Edgware, Elm Park, Epping, Finchley Central, Grange Hill, Green Park, Hainault, Hanger Lane, Highgate, Ickenham, Maida Vale, Mile End, Mudchute, Perivale, Pinner, Prince Regent, Pudding Mill Lane, Temple, Tufnell Park, Turnham Green, Turnpike Lane, Upney, Vauxhall, Wapping, Warwick Avenue, White City, Whitechapel

No Green Line to Oakwood or South Quay, and no British Rail to Upney. You can't by an Underground Guide at Balham, and you can't buy How to Get There at Bank.

Isn't there a Kings Cross in Sydney as well? Yes. On the Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line. Between Martin Place and Edgecliff. There is no "beach" Ruislip and Woodford. No "Australia" or "South Australia" Debden. You won't find 'Sydney Buses" in Chalk Farm, Fairlop, Moor Park, Oval, Pimlico, Poplar or Victoria. You won't find any "Footballs" at Epping, Pinner, Upney. You won't find a "Red Sherrin"(The colour and brand football used in aussie rules) at Oval. You won't find a 'Tangara" at Dollis Hill, Limehouse, Pimlico.

And thank heavens there will be none of us hillbillies waiting for trains at Acton Town, Moor Park, Oakwood, Upton Park, Watford, or Woodford.
No rednecks at Balham, Oval, and Vauxhall.
No ridge running stump jumpers at Oval.
And absolutely no Appalachian Americans anywhere on the system.
Bummer, dern and shucks!

Maid Marion can't even have travelled, nor Little John
And Friar Tuck can only be found at Debden
