C and D remind me of the Jubilee Line Extension. I'll stick my neck out,to open the bidding, and say C is Canning Town where the line dives down....

Yes, my guess too - King George V station. Is it the King's birthday, date of death or some other anniversary?

King George V - view from bridge towards tunnel in May 2008 Brian A60K was close, it's the Centenary of his ascension to the throne Looking at Wikipedia it seems you were only a few days out on it being exactly 100 years to the day! (Accession 6 May 1910) Wonder what he would think of having metro stations named after him in both London and Paris!

Sneaky having the same picture presented as four separate parts! I only post them, but to be fair, I came out with four probable answers when I first looked at them! Chris sends me all the links, and I try to solve them before I know the answers, and every one of them sent me down DLR, but I never clicked even thought I knew there was a link! Even with the answers, sometimes it isn't that easy! But I did pull Chris once, and only once I might add. In the best part of two/three years and that was with an escalator on what was labelled as Arsenal tube. That's one station that I can't fail on! Not a bad record I'd say.
