Totally wrong, but I thought of a Circle Lane train heading into the fields near Caistor in Lincolnshire. Must have taken a wrong stick.

Parsons Green +2
Is Chris M back in the city yet, as opposed to being out in the country? Reason I'm thinking this is that could this be somewhere in Somerset?

It's just occured to me that during my 37 years living in London, I have never once travelled on the Wimbledon branch of the DL.

Point to DistrictSOM it is indeed Parsons Green. Point to Sean B as it is Somerset - I'd got a clue all lined up about you lot not eating enough salad! Answer: Parsons Green - boxes at south end of westbound platform [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Background: Blackdown Hills near Chard, Somerset [Chris M] (click for a larger version)

Answer: Parsons Green - boxes at south end of westbound platform. Bah, first we had "things" and now we have "boxes", I predict "stuff" will shortly be appearing in the quiz! ;D

I thought that "boxes" was a very reasonable choice for a concise description of the subject of the photo - far better imho than "train operator information board, auto telephone, 2 × scotch and clip containers, ..." :-) Do you have an alternative suggestion? Or better still some photos for the quiz with more precise descriptions?
Thinking about it, I don't know what the proper name for the place the scotches and clips are stored "containers", "boxes", "cupboards", "lockers" and "units"would all be logical.

Or better still some photos for the quiz with more precise descriptions? Alas no, but next time I'm in the Capital I'm going to take lots of pictures of "wotsits" "doofers" and "ooo-ja-ma-jigs". ;D ;D
