Can anyone tell me what the codes pre LT signalling were. According to Traffic Circular 18/1936 they were EN Whitechapel EP Bow Road C Campbell Road Junction B Bromley M Upper Abbey Mills Junction W West Ham P Plaistow U Upton Park H1 East Ham No 1 H2 East Ham No 2 L1 Little Ilford No 1 L2 Little Ilford No 2 BW Barking West BS Barking Station Siding BE Barking East DH Dagenham HC Hornchurch UW Upminster West UE Upminster East |

Dude. Harsig knows everything ;D Why were the codes so haphazardly assigned? There is nothing haphazard about it. If you look every code is taken from the cabin name in one way shape or form e.g. M upper abbey Mills junction H1 east Ham No 1 HC Horn Church |
