Does anyone know if these computers are faster than the program machines when it comes to changing routes?

Does anyone know if these computers are faster than the program machines when it comes to changing routes? Do you mean the speed with which the next route is set up after the completion of the previous move? If so I'd have thought that the computers are no faster than the programme machines as I'm sure the limiting factor with both programme machine and computer control would be the speed of operation of the Interlocking machine and the associated ground level equipment (e.g. points, trainstops etc). Where the computers score over programme machines would probably be in ease (cost) of maintenace, reliability and ease of loading/changing the timetaeble.

I thought that would be the case.
