I think the District will use both platforms 3 and 4. I'm going to guess that trains will predominantly use platform 3, but of course the OLY-HSK shuttle will run, so platform 4 will also be used.
It also looks like Circle line trains will reverse from platform 2 at HSK.
Edit: Circle not running according to TfL.

Hmmm.......that covers the Saturday of the summer meet. Getting from Paddington to ECT will be a real pain - - not made easier by the helpful (!!!) advice on the TfL website that customers from Padd can use the Bakerloo as the alternative route.

As someone said Circle reversing via platform 2 at High Street Ken.
Also no service up to High Street on any of the weekends
And there's going to be a large number of engineers trains going in and out!

Eerrr......................how?? Simple, take a 27 bus from Paddington to High Street Kensington station (Turnham Green, Sutton Lane North will probably be the destination). Change there for the District line or a 328 towards Limerston Street. Note that you will need to cross the road to reach Earls Court station if you use the 328. Does anyone know why they are Monday and Tuesday closures, as opposed to Saturday and Sunday closures?

It's not a Monday and Tuesday stand alone closure It's part of a 4 and a bit week closure from COT on Fri 22nd July until SOT on Weds 24th Aug The project required the final Monday and Tuesday in order to complete it's works

As expected, more or less chaos at High Street to-day. Trains from Earl's Court and Victoria arrived together so in effect no access to Platform 3. The detraining passengers were being advised "for Edgware Road turn left out of the station and take a No. 27 bus" which instruction followed literally would take them to Hammersmith - in fairness, of course, they could get a train to Edgware Road from there. Question - are they running extra buses on route 27 during the closure?And if they went that way at least they would've avoided the one-way working in Kensington Church Street due to cunningly timed road works. Meanwhile, back on Platform 3, trains depart with no indication of final destination - hey, we can all get out at Earl's Court and get back on again if it turns out it is going to Wimbledon after all. From the sound of the drivers when they eventually did announce our destination I gathered that the emergency timetable has cut back meal breaks, overtime or both

This meant that my route had to use more clapped out ALX400s (V-reg), and also affected Route H32, which now has a number of those every day despite having been fully converted to OmniCity operation since 2009!

And all of the set agreed parameters concerning mealbreaks and shift times for drivers are followed correctly. Cut back on overtime Unlike some national rail operators, we do not function on overtime. It is granted should a driver end up getting off of their train late due to disruption. Therefore if this timetable has cut overtime then one can only draw the assumption that it means drivers are getting off on time.

Classic Standard. The "biggest yet closure." Surely mileage and inconvenience-wise, the shutdown of the Hammersmith branch was worse. This closure is short in comparison, and all stations have at least one easy alternative. Plus we're doing what people have campaigned for, and are doing all the work in one hit. Usual standard of journalism for them. Trying to alarm people into thinking its a bad thing.

Question - are they running extra buses on route 27 during the closure? Answer: 27 - Temporary Monday to Friday timetable introduced with additional peak hour journeys between Turnham Green/Stamford Brook and Baker Street during Railway works.

The later closures will occur mostly alongside signalling work at Edgware Road - a separate project to the current blockade closure.
To get all the work done, would have required a longer block closure, and even then it simply isn't always possible to get everything done whilst making the most of the closure. There will always be the few works which require "settling in" before they can be added to. Under a block closure, it could have meant the railway being shut but no actual work being done for days on end. If news of that got out, then we'd be slated again.

It'll be on their radar for the duration, so expect more first class journalism from them on the topic. Nice of TfL to lay on the tea room at the north end of platform 2 by the way. Only problem is I've not seen a train hang about long enough to give the t/op enough time to furnish themselves with a brew!
