2009 TS Numbering: ADM T NDM UNDM UNDM NDM T DDM 11002–12002–13002–14002+14001–13001–12001–11001 11004–12004–13004–14004+14003–13003–12003–11003 .... and so on up to 11094–12094–13094–14094+14093–13093–12093–11093
Sorry about the odd spacing of the car types. I can't get more spaces to work.

This is what Tubeprune posted, just formatted in a table: 2009 TS Numbering ADM | T | NDM | UNDM | + | UNDM | NDM | T | DDM | 11002 | 12002 | 13002 | 14002 | + | 14001 | 13001 | 12001 | 11001 | 11004 | 12004 | 13004 | 14004 | + | 14003 | 13003 | 12003 | 11003 | ... | ... | ... | ... | + | ... | ... | ... | ... | 11094 | 12094 | 13094 | 14094 | + | 14093 | 13093 | 12093 | 11093 |

LU move customers from A to B, they used to do it via 'C'.

I know that reviving this thread is 'pushing it' a bit after six months but I do have a genuine update and it seems daft to start a whole new thread when this one is already here.
Due to the 'S' 7's suffering from a numbering clash with Network Rail trains we have had to make a change to the numbering scheme for them. So:
The 7 Car C&H/District are as follows: Train 073 = (DM)31202-(M1)32202-(M2)33202-(MS)34202/(MS)34201-(M1)32201-(DM)31201 and so on until Train 142 which, again, starts the M2 car de-icing units: Train 142 = (DM)31340-(M1)32340-(M2D)35340-(MS)34340/(MS)34339-(M1)32339-(DM)31339 All the way through to: Train 190 = (DM)31436-(M1)32436-(M2D)35436-(MS)34436/(MS)34435-(M1)32435-(DM)31435 Which means all 7 car trains start with the digit 3.

Will there be any deicing units in the 09TS fleet for sweeping the yard at Northumberland Pk?

No. I have heard some talk about how this is going to be done (so they have been thinkng about it!) but I can't remember the outcome.

I would have thought it made sense to have say half a dozen units for this rather than all the rigmarole of discharging traction current and taking out protection which we have now for manual deicing.

You could have also updated the thread where I was concerned about the clash of numbers with Connect hand helds ( Here) - but here is fine - hopefully now my fears are eased For some strange reason, I actually like this numbering scheme compared to the old one, despite how very similar they are! ;D ;D

Out of interest what class of stock do the numbers clash with on NR, and would it even make a difference if the TOPs code NR has for LUL stock was used as a prefix, if even only on NR?

I suppose the 1992 stock with the 91xxx car numbers, would clash with the class 91 locomotives used on the ECML.

In the unlikely event that '92ts ever went near the ECML it might be a clash, but NR assign a special class code to any trains that work on NR - currently only C, D and '72 stocks

but NR assign a special class code to any trains that work on NR and of course the Tyne & Wear Metro trains. though at the moment they don't run on LU. I suppose also the code applies to any LU-based engineers' trains as well?

Thanks for the update prjb.
I must admit to being a little embarrased as I started this thread and only just noticed that it has been updated!
