Hello all - been a long time since I last dropped by! Hope you all are well. But anyhoo, whilst browsing the web I stumbled upon this story on thelondonpaper's website which talks about how Farringdon station is Islington's 'rudest'. I was just wondering if anyone travelling through had ever had a problem with staff there. I work just down the road from the station and before learning of the ever reliable Metroline route 4 bus (I'll save those stories for another day!) I used to get the tube to/from Farringdon five times a week and never saw the staff acting any differently to any others on the network. Certainly when I had any 'dealings' with them they seemed pleasent enough. The article can be found by clicking here

I've never had any interaction with the staff at Farringdon, so I can't comment on that, but the only time I've experienced rudeness from a member of LU staff was from the person answering the information service at Shepherd's Bush H&C. I may have posted about this before, but basically he insisted that the "emergency" rather than the "information" button had been pressed - despite the person pushing it, myself and Antharro all maintaining the "information" button was the one pressed. After several minutes of him refusing to acknowledge he was wrong, and insisting we apologise for hitting emergency when it wasn't one, the person pushing the button gave up and asked what he wanted to know (when the next eastbound train was due), at which point the connection was closed.
Needless to say both myself and Antharro sent in compaints to TfL. I would hope the other person did also, but I've no idea.

I've never had cause to complain about the staff at Farringdon. In fact, I've contacted LUL a few years back to commend one of the SAs for his helpfulness.
