Hello All, 2 Things Firstly, does anyone know what those panels on the floor of C stock cover, and secondly, (it may just be my being pedantic) but does anyone else get annoyed when they aren't put back in facing the correct way as demonstrated in the picture. Thanks in advance Dominic

looks to me that they are oblong so would'nt fit if turned through 90 degees. They stand out better as they are.

The one on the right just needs turning 180 degrees.
I'm guessing they're access to the bogies for maintainence.

The leftmost cover actually appeared to fit perfectly with another cover at the other end of the car. Can the staff at Hammersmith depot not remember which cover they took off which hole. I mean, surely it's not that hard to make the train appear (relatively) new. Even if they are the most hated stock on the Underground and next to be sent to the great siding in the Sky

In my day my depot manager wouldn't have let a train go into service like that. It's either the wrong panel (flooring tray) or the flooring material in the tray has been replaced at sometime with an odd piece. It gives an overall wrong impression to the outside world of the maintenance staff.
