On a Sunday the 23:01 and 23:11 from Hammersmith are shown as terminating at Paddington H & C. Where do they go after that? Just curious.

Back to Hammersmith, I think (off the top of my head) - it's a positioning move to get them out of the way of other terminators.

They form Circle line trains going through via Aldgate!
(according to the WTT 27 (sorry, don't know if it's current, but it seems to work out!)
One goes all the way back round the Circle then to Liverpool Street (train 200) and the other goes to Baker Street to stable there by the looks of things (train 201)

I never knew trains stable at Baker Street. Thanks for that

Sorry, they don't. The train returns from Baker Street back to Hammersmith... and the other one goes to Farringdon!
Once again, this information is a year and a half old so may have changed...!

If they go back to HMS from PAD that means they wrong road all the way from there to Royal Oak then use the crossover to get back on the WB track!?

A quick look at Cnh 28 shows, as causton says, the 23.01 1/2 and 23.11 1/2 going on through Paddington and eventually continuing as Circles,

I'm guessing that the Circle line will then be running as a complete circle after 8pm? The benefit of this I can see would be to allow one of the platforms at Edgware Road to accommodate an engineer's train and reduce conflicting movements at the Praed Street junction.

The Circle behind the H&C I was on was also running round the circle this afternoon (Circle Line via Paddington on the DB rather than Hammersmith via Paddington as usual) - trains being moved ready for the weekend?
