A few days ago I arrived on the High Barnet platform at Camden Town and saw a train leave which had a different type of external display fitted to the cab. It said High Barnet via Charing Cross but was scrolling a bit like the displays on the S7 trains. Just curious if this is an upgrade planned for all Northern Line trains?

51640 and 51641 are two of the DMs - but as I write this post I saw the following train had one too, so presumably they are being rolled out.

It is only the 95 that do, I don't think there is a need for the 96 ones to scroll.

I was again doing Platform Duties Yesterday and about 5 trains went through with the new displays so i presume they are being rolled out to all 95 stock
