Has the new Kings Cross scissors been commissioned ok? From what I've heard it's all finished and done. Sorry if I've missed a thread but where's the new crossover? (Other than KX) Edit: from the H&C and Met Twitter account:

It's just outside the platforms on the west side.

Part way between King's Cross and Euston Square. Commissioned successfully although there's still a little more work to be done for the rear cab clear plunger installation, aiui. Certainly didn't give us any problems, although I was marooned on the far, North, side of the station all day.

From the TfL website at 20:40 on Friday 1st January:
That wouldn't have anything to do with the new crossover and associated signalling, would it?

A few extras/mods needed; the RCC signs/plungers, a platform repeater for OJ19, and a mod to the feeds into the site computer. Other than that it wasn't too bad.

Should of been removed at same time. Embankment is getting the same setup as Kings Cross

Looking at the upcoming engineering work this new crossing is going to get quite a bashing over the next 6 months.

Is the crossing at the east end of the station remaining? Yes, it was plain lined at the same time. First intensive use will be weekend 13/14tb Feb with a shutdown to Aldgate for work there, although there are two booked east-west moves each night, one off platform 2 (OOS) and another into platform 1.
