Hi
On the some of the threads it is quite jarring trying to scroll through to try and find the answers to the question. Am I allowed to request that once everyone has found the answers to all the pictures, there is one final post listing them altogether rather than trawling through the lot?
Also if there are days that you revisit and find there are answers missing could you do a post so far of what has been answered and what still needs to be found with all pictures included?
Thanks.

We have already this as a staff team and run a couple of ideas past Chris M. Some of the ideas require forumrule changes which are being looked at by the admin tesm. Watch this space!
However, please remember that like the staff team, the quiz team are volunteers whose time may be limited. The quiz board is a fantastic part of the forum but realistic suggestions are always welcome.

I think the easiest thing to do is that if there are specific threads you'd like a summary of what's been identified (with answers) and what hasn't all in one place, then put a request on that thread - just make it clear if you are asking for the recap or for the answers though.

I'd add my support and thanks for the great work done by the quiz team. One of the things that does make threads cumbersome to scroll through is when people "quote" a post including images, when submitting their guesses or follow-up comments. I'd encourage everyone to use the key given in the question rather than repeating image posts. While I'm not generally a fan of any form of censorship, I wonder whether those with admin privileges might delete any such repeated images they come upon?

I wonder if there's any obvious way of making it so that we can avoid a situation where if a daily quiz question is posted at, say 2am, and someone answers it at 4am, it's kind of over for everyone before anyone's even really got up. I originally thought that I could be that you make the answer white like this so that it's not really visible ( HEY GUYS, THE ANSWER IS 100% TURNHAM GREEN AND IT'S ONLY 2:30am) unless you click on it but everyone has different skins on different devices. I Would regularly encouraging people to send early submissions where they're pretty sure of the answer by PM workable? Or is there a better idea? Is it just me who sees this as a slight problem? Once again, thanks to all of the quiz team - Chris M , Colin D and rincew1nd , your efforts are very much appreciated.

Yes, if the question is less than about say 12 hours old and you are certain of the answer then send a PM rather than putting the answer in the thread, especially if there is just the one answer that day. You can post in the thread to say you've sent a PM if you wish. goldenarrow, bigvern and @aetearlscourt please take note of this particularly. I've had an idea reagarding this and the quoting of pictures but I want to discus them with the forum staff first.

I normally dwell on unanswered questions for a day or two, then it all gets forgotten among the newer challenges. There are two unanswered images from 'way back' which still keep coming to mind, though. One was a large white building with spherical red domes at each corner of the roof; the other a statue of a little dog, or possibly wolf, in what looks like a British street. So long ago, I can't even find the questions.

The fox statue was easy as I knew what image you were thinking of so it was just a case of looking up in the database when that was used. The building was trickier as I didn't recognise it, so I just browsed through all the inset images until I found what matched the description. This did take a few minutes (the 2000th inset is coming up in August) but I got a bit lucky with the order. When I did find it the file name told me the date.
Once I had the dates it was simply a matter of googling for the threads.
