Quite a rare thing for the whole DLR to be suspended. Total signalling system failure by the sound of it.

Twitter stated a signal failure at West India Quay, presumably meaning the Delta junction. That doesn't line up with suspensions east of Canning Town though.

I remember being caught up in a complete signalling shutdown on the DLR back in 2006. Fortunately, the train I was on was stuck just outside Canning Town and so (after manual control was assumed to move the train into the station) I was able to continue my journey on the Jubilee line instead.

Got an email from TfL today at 1521 saying that normal service had been resumed.
They blamed it on I wonder what work they were doing..

Have they tried switching it off, waiting 30 seconds and then switching it back on again? I often have to do that with the TV, especially when my mother messes around with it. She's hopeless with tech and will press random buttons without knowing what they are  It certainly works! |
