I'd like to echo Colin's post... happy Christmas to all members
The boys are in bed and this year I've told the boys the story of how Elves don't like Christmas.... but because what Father Christmas did when he learnt how poor they are, that he gives each a hug..... which means more.... as it's more personal....
Somewhere on the forum is my first story told to our children last Christmas Eve... when Mel gave me 10 seconds notice that I would be telling a Christmas Story....
This year, I guessed what Mel might say this evening..... so had some time to think !!!

Merry Christmas from one of the few if not the only place in the UK possible to catch a train on Christmas Day. 20 min HEX shuttles operating between Heathrow Central, Terminal 4 and Terminal 5 with a train effectively locked in for single line working. The T4 shuttle shortly after rolling into platform 1 with an almighty racket caused by a wheel flat. Looking down Platform 2 on the sparse traffic for the T5 shuttle. In both cases the number staff onboard comfortably outnumbered passengers.

Are you actually using the service for a reason or is it just a good photo opportunity?

superteacher , A bit of both. My work today was covering duties over at T5 and T4 since christmas duties meant deviating from my usual domain in the Central Terminal Area (T 1&2). Normally I'd just hitch a lift from the coach services at Central Bus Station (which do run on Christmas Day also) but decided instead to make a journey on HEX hence the photos and the lack of any "passengers".
