The next Programmes and Investment Committee meeting is next week. There is a pretty full agenda covering - Crossrail Update - Crossrail 2 Update - LU major stations programme update incl Bank, Camden Town and Holborn. Also mentions possible Central line accessibility at Bank. - Couple of papers on Technology and Data items including progress (or not) of ticketing schemes - Northern Line Extension - Update on LU engineering fleet and vehicles (what was known as Transplant in the old days) TfL do NOT publish separate papers anymore - it's all consolidated into one huge document so the link is below but it's a long skim read and even longer detailed read. I don't want to "spam" multiple different threads related to specfic topics on the Forum hence one post here. I trust the Mods and Admins are fine with this approach. content.tfl.gov.uk/pic-20190306-agenda-and-documents-public.pdfThe update on Crossrail 2 is particularly concerning but not surprising. "Death by a thousand reviews and updates" - the Strategic Business Case has to be updated again prior to the spending review but it's clear to me the DfT don't want to give Mayor Khan any progress on this this side of the May 2020 Mayoral election. Grayling is never going to give him that sort of small positive win. The DfT have even cut their funding contribution because of the delays they themselves have imposed on the scheme.

Not surprising something would come up about Crossrail 2 problems as there was news a little while ago that contractors had to dip into the Crossrail 2 pot to try and finish Crossrail 1.
