It's not often that public statements about disciplinary action are made but in this particular case the Admin Team thought it appropriate to explain the level of sanction applied. Member 'banana99' has been permanently banned from District Dave's forum for repeatedly goading forum staff and regular members over a period of several years. We won't tolerate this from anybody. He has been warned on many occasions and has served suspensions as a result of this behaviour which also includes a near permanent ban in 2016. His lack of respect was apparent as early as 2013 when, as 'banana9989', his account was suspended for arguing with Administrators and Moderators. All District Dave's Forum staff are volunteers and shouldn't have to tolerate behaviour like this. The Admin team will have no hesitation in imposing sanctions on forum members who engage in behaviour as seen in this case. It's thankfully rare that action such as this has to be taken - we firmly believe that the forum will be a much better place without 'banana99'.
