Does anyone have any pictures, or links to pictures which show the in station diagram maps which were on the platforms of stations between Harrow and Queens Park PRIOR to the Overground takeover in 2007?
After reading your responses and looking online, I genuinely don't think BR/Silverlink/National Rail kept platform diagram maps, even as recent as 2007.
If they did, I just realised they wouldn't look like the TFL style ones you see today.
I should also clarify that i specifically mean the platform diagrams referring the to route you are on e.g. the northbound/southbound ones which are specific to each platform, not the general London connection maps etc.
I must admit I don’t recall the type of platform diagram you refer to prior to London Overground taking over. I remember the timetables on the platform had the stations on but these were not well laid out. It’s a bit like regional buses compared with London Buses! You’re lucky if you know when and which bus is going to turn up and where it’s going!
