i was watching video i spotted lift in northern line - i didnt know there was new lift installed there - i wonder if goes down to crossrail or up to ticket hall as i dont not recall the step free plans for moorgate to be have lifts installed in deep lines but i know there was plans for sub surface lines to have lifts

(lift in this clip is seen from lower landing (northern line) but unknown what layout for step free looks like

The preliminary maps and diagrams of the Crossrail project from the 2010’s show Moorgate with a step-free blob.
The enlargement of the ticket hall on Moorfields and the substantial works required around the link to the Northern line with its journey potential certainly makes it worthwhile.

The fantastic Step Free London blog also only mentions Crossrail, Northern and Sub-Surface lines. |

The lift between the Northern line platforms goes down to the interchange passageways between Liverpool Street and Moorgate.
Last year I had a ride on the top of the lift to enable me to put a sign on the outside of the escape door half way up the shaft. An interesting experience.
There are lifts from the new Moorgate ticket hall to the Met platforms and down to the Crossrail platforms.
