Forward view video from a maintenance vehicle whilst passing through one bore of the Thames Tunnel in a possession (so passing red signals is allowed)
Really interesting footage - I put it here (rather than the video thread) as its a LO topic
Not filmed by me!

The forum software converts links to Twitter into embedded tweets, if you can't see it above, then try reassembling this deliberately broken link: twitter.com /Gary18386547/status/1519072038304071685?t=eEVhk2yHtHI_qMOYivG9Xw&s=19

Also, if you can open the tweet, you can get the link from you browser address bar, for most browsers.

What I meant was that I saw -no- link in the original message, not even one of the mangled viglink things (which are an abomination and IMHO unnecessary; this is the only forum I read that does that sort of thing).

I've seen that happen before: no link - and I wonder why no one has mentioned it - then a while later the embedded item is all present and correct.

sorry but my attempts fail every time I try to include a twitter link in a way that does not automatically parse in to the twitter page maybe what I will have to do in the future is deliberately break the link (with a gap between characters) so that viewers will have to reassemble it to get it to work

The other way is to include it as a link with other text, e.g. [twitter url="https://twitter.com/Gary18386547/status/1519072038304071685"] Click here if the tweet fails to load
should produce: Click here if the tweet fails to load(You don't need the "twitter URL" bit in the first part, just the plain URL will work - and what I have in the source of this post)

My preference, of course , is to put the actual URL in place of the "click here" message so it's simple to cut/paste into the browser address line; some of us don't want to touch viglink (it has been a virus vector).

You can install an extension on Firefox and Chrome (possibly other browsers too, I've not looked) called "Skip redirect" that will do its best to bypass things like that so you can click away without going via viglink. I've not installed this extension so I cannot offer a recommendation or vouch for how good it is, but it is by far the highest rated and most used extension for this task.
