Hi all, a small and very specific query, on the basis that my eyes did not in fact just deceive me yesterday
I was travelling on the Metropolitan Line from Northwood to Harrow on the Hill yesterday 09/04/23, and am quite sure my train was passed at Northwood Hills by something other than an S stock… although I’m not sure what. I wasn’t looking out of the window but when I glanced up I had to do a bit of a double take, but it was a bit too late and there was a lot of glare. It looked like it could have been the D78 RAT, as I think I saw a boxy, white profile, but again I couldn’t be sure and would have queried seeing it at this time of year, perhaps, it was being turned?? If anybody could confirm, I’d appreciate it, even if it’s just confirmation that I was mildly hallucinating!
The train I saw passed Northwood Hills on the northbound local line at 1610.
