From Tuesday 6 June until Wednesday 14 June 2023, the entire DLR network will close an hour earlier than usual on most days to allow for essential rail maintenance work to take place.
During this time DLR services will stop at 23:30 between Monday–Saturday and at 22:30 on Sunday. Customers should ensure they complete their DLR journeys by these times. The early closure of services will happen between 6-8 June (3 nights) and between 10-14 June (5 nights)
We will be carrying out rail milling, which is vital to keep the track in good working order. Rail milling prevents defects occurring, ensuring that the service remains safe and reliable and may also contribute to a reduction in track related noise during operation.
