In the control room at Earls Court there were indicators in the diagram which displayed the train number/destination these were known as KGMs. Can anyone tell me what KGM stands for. TIA

KGM seems to refer to the manufacturer, KGM Electronics of Richmond Surrey

Were they like these things ?
I've never been to Earls Court control room, but have come across these things or similar many many moons ago in non railway control rooms.
Skip the adverts and opening sequence........
EDIT, I thought I'd posted just the link as text , not embedding it.

That's exactly what they were! Ta! Before I joined the 'london underground' environment, I had quite a lot to do with non railway control rooms e.g. electric grid, power station, and emergency services, and worked through a generation of kit pre-dating LED LCD etc, GB and overseas.

Thanks for that I did a search but that company did not come up mostly overseas companies. KGM became KME (Kent Modular Electronics) in 1990. They're still trading - I remember them supplying new monitors for the control desks at Baker Street in the early 2000s. www.kme.co.uk/

Neasden SCC pre-TBTC desks were KME monitors - marine specification !!! Don't ask !! I just remembering when procuring some replacements reading the spec - as if we were placing them on the outside of 96TS in the monsoon season.
