Over on the RMweb (Railway Modellers, not Routemasters) a chap has developed and is now producing a 3D printed Q23 car. It's available in 3 versions, double ended for the south Acton shuttle, single-ended as a west end driving car and I believe as original F stock. He's also going Q25, Q36 and Q38 trailer car, so it will be possible to create a typical mixed rake 4-car set.
Cost is about £115 per car, not sure if that includes VAT and postage. You'll need a Black Beetle or other motor bogie to make it work, plus 12mm spoked wheels for the trailing bogie.
Meanwhile I'll bin my resin cast kit which was too short at one end!

Interesting, although I would have been happier with models different to those that the late Phil Radley was selling. Creates a wider choice for the public!

They look nice, but at £115 for just a body, chassis and bogies without wheels it makes a 4 car unit very expensive - £550??

A lot more that that once you include a pair of motor bogies at £50 each minimum (if you can find any suitable, Black Beetles are discontinued and Tenshodo Spuds patchy), at least another £25 for trailing wheels and bearings, maybe £10 for paint and £10 for transfers, if anyone even makes appropriate London Underground logos and numbers at the moment. That's at least £600 total.
I'd certainly be keen to see photos of the actual prints before committing to spending £115 a pop on them on the basis of CGI alone.

Rather than binning the resin kit I’m sure I could rehouse it. Northfields

Meanwhile I'll bin my resin cast kit which was too short at one end! If you chop one end off it would make for a great static display item, ie: 'drive a train feature' at a station - and the short length will have become irrelevant!

Or you could turn it into a beach hut, with enthusiasts trying to dig it out in the rain...
