There are now ❄ snowflake ❄ icons on the online Tube Map indicating lines with air-conditioned trains. There are located in the 'Key to Lines' legend, so the snowflakes don't contribute to the clutter on the map itself. See Geoff Marshall's tweet for an image because I don't know how to embed them here. I think the snowflakes are a good addition as summers are only getting hotter thanks to climate change. As I said, it doesn't add much clutter to the Tube Map and can help tourists and those who aren't experts on which rolling stocks have air conditioning. I don't know when it was added - Geoff's tweet on September 9th is the first mention of the snowflakes that I can find. It's not a new tube map edition, as the watermark and label at the bottom both still say May 2023. I assume that, given the large positive feedback, we will get snowflake icons on every spring/summer edition of the Tube Map; it wouldn't make much sense to make it permanent and show trains with air conditioning in the winter.

I am sure I read somewhere on the forums that the S stock trains are not air conditioned, they are air cooled and do not have humidity sensors. It helps a bit, but they really can still be too warm for my liking.
As an aside, please remove the excessive amount of emoji's in your post. It makes the text more difficult to read.

S Stock are air conditioned. Additionally, just a few words of administrative advice: It’s not for you to lecture others on how they choose to post. That’s the remit of the Moderation and Administrative teams. If you have concerns please contact one of us in the first instance. Many thanks. 👍

OK, I saw the tweet and what has been done. I dunno, maybe I should shrug my shoulders and cry 'meh'.
Then again, I suppose it might actually entice some people (who did not know this) to use the relevant services - and if it does then its worthwhile.

It helps a bit, but they really can still be too warm for my liking. 👍 It does help to know where to stand/sit. A few years back I had to do some rush hour travelling in packed S-Stock, and found it was often just as stifling as any other stock. However, if you work out where the A/C outlets are, it can be much more pleasant. One other point is that in any situation, it doesn't matter how good the A/C is if you are exposed to direct sunlight, and in trains, having a lot of windows, that's more likely than in buildings.
