If a ticket is paid for and loaded onto an ITSO smartcard (specifically SWT Touch), will the ticket be valid on services from London Overground stations? I can buy a ticket online with SWT and have it loaded onto the smartcard, but do LO gatelines or revenue inspectors have the capability to understand the card?

ITSO compatibility on TfL modes concerned has been largely available since 2014 following a significant programme of works. As long as you have a valid ticket loaded, you shouldn’t have any issues with gatelines or getting revenue inspected.

Its the ticket which has the validity, not the medium on which its held
