Swanage Railway have announced that the 4TC will be at the Diesel Gala and be used for railtours to/from Swanage. I've updated the first post with details of them.

Any use on LU metals? eg: during the Amersham Fayre weekend?

Or will the 1938ts be the only LU heritage train this year (2024)

North Norfolk Railway have announced that the 4TC, along with 33012 and 50008, will be visiting for the Rails & Ales event in June. I've updated the first post to include this and the railtours to and from the NNR.

There are also two railtours listed on the Branch Line Society website, that are as far as I can tell is likely to be formed of the LU 4TC set. As I'm not 100% sure I'll link the details in this post rather than in the first post.

Sarah Siddons and the 4TC set have returned to Ruislip depot today

I was thinking of trying to see and film it on the return journey but then I looked at Real Time Trains and saw that it was running 'very late' and knowing how things can go with special workings (and my own timetable for the day) regretfully decided that I had to give it a miss.

Later in the evening I saw this ... I'm pleased that someone else was able to film it when it was on its travels.
