On channel 5 at 8pm tonight. Only an overview-style programme, but it was enjoyable & no glaring errors in it-not up to Tim & Siddy levels,but worth looking at. |

I've always wondered why it is referred to as a map - It is of course a chart as it describes how to get from A to B rather than relating the railway to the topography. In fact I think the only true Underground map was the 'London' map produced by LT in 1962 which did actually show the true relationship of the underground lines to the topography of London.

here This map looks very similar to that old one. It is released as FoI response from time to time, but is not maintained as current.
