I note in Underground News May 2024 that the Circle Line terminated at Tower Hill 9/10 March 2024 due to engineering works at Gloucester Road. Is this a new move for Circle Line trains, and did they reverse west to east in the middle platform, or did they shunt ahead to serve the eastbound platform? Do platform indicators provide for this service?

Has been used during engineering work before, reverse into middle platform, no forward shunt into eastbound platform available.
Shunt ahead from WB platform 1 back into middle and then regain eastbound line is available.
Yes, the platform indicators work correctly.

The fixed enamel signs wouldn’t be changed, unfortunately
