Volunteering with the Q Stock restoration at the LTM Depot

Hi all,

I don't know if this is the right space to post this question on, but I've been looking to volunteer at the museum depot with the Q stock restoration, and also to volunteer on open days. A while ago I wrote to the museum friends, who told me to email Sam Clift. I emailed him, and got no response. I also emailed the museum directly and got no response. When I went to the depot recently for one of their new Cab It! tours, I spoke to Julian, the chap in charge of the restoration, as well as Keith Raeburn, the depot manager, who told me to email him later on. I duly did this, and got no response. I then filled in the volunteering form on the museum website, and got no response. When I visited the Covent Garden site to ask someone about this, I was given a phone number, which I phoned, and was told no-one was available to answer my call.

Could someone please help me figure out how to get in contact with anyone involved with volunteering at the depot?

I've pointed a friend who is involved with the museum as a volunteer to this thread. The best advice they can give is to keep trying - you've already identified all the people they would recommend speaking to. You could also try, if you haven't already, contacting the museum Friends, but that's not guaranteed to be any more reliable than the methods you've already tried.

UPDATE: Just to flag that the LTM are aware of the above and will be replying to hummusn

Yes, the Friends were the first people I contacted. They replied telling me that I would get a proper response later on, but suggested I email Sam Clift in the meantime, which I did but of course did not get a response. Thank you so much though for your response.
