Is there a TSR at Chiswick Park

Today I got a District line train from Acton Town to Chiswick Park. As we rounded the bend towards Chiswick Park the driver slammed on the brakes - it felt like an emergency brake but I don’t know. We then proceeded into the eastbound platform quite slowly.

Exactly the same happened when I made the journey last week. Is there a TSR (temporary speed restriction) here?

There is a 10mph Speed restriction on the eb from the start of the platform to the end.
