As a lot of us know, there were proposals to have a station between Manor House and Turnpike Lane, this being Harringay. Now, I have been on Wikipedia but it says although a station was not built, a "ventilation" station was added, and it was similar architecturally, to a "normal" station, and that it still stands today!
Is this the case?
Whereabouts is this "station" located? Has anyone got any pictures/information?
Here is the Wikipedia post.

Was to be where the Colina Road Fanshaft is now, just off Green Lanes and just north of Harringey Station of the same name on the Goblin.

Ah, where the pub is on the corner, I would suspect.

Yup, that's it - it looks just like a Holden brick box. When I went past it a few weeks ago I recognized it almost at once.

Damn, this would have been very useful to me! Ah well, Manor House isn't that far a walk.

Perhaps it is 'splitting hairs' but the actual shaft was excavated and used as a construction site and was afterwards utilised as a ventilation shaft - as were most of the construction shafts.
