I was doing a late turn today and we had a suspension Arnos Grove - Hyde Park Corner for EEW, apparently due to 'defective track' at Kings Cross. Anyone have any more information?
(..didn't help that we were at minor delays already after a trespasser on the track at Knightsbridge, and once we *did* finally get going again, there was a 'customer incident' at Manor House that required a police presence... and then once *that* was done the supervisor at Cockfosters shut the station for a suspicious package. Good times! And the last train was only about 20 minutes late... and only contained three female CSA's including myself, plus the driver.)

It was a defective train stop (not lowering) on the main line shunt signal just after Kings Cross WB.
