It was mentioned in a thread below that Bakerloo trains that terminate Willesden Junction, detrain there and then run empty to Stonebridge Park depot. Why can’t these trains run in passenger service to Stonebridge Park and detrain there for passage to the depot?

Because Stonebridge Park is little more than a pair of platforms and a closet for a ticket office. Willesden Junction is a big station with interchange to other services and staff available to detrain.

And as point of reference, the reason why they cannot use the bay road at Willesden Jct is because it is too short.
