Browsing through some pics on the LT Museum site, I noticed that at one time, all of the Bakerloo stations north of Queens Park had LT roundels outside the station. When were these removed - they were certainly there in the early 1960's.
As far as I know, these stations were always managed by BR (and its various guises) over the years, so I assume that the platforms never had LT signage?

I'd assume they were removed back in the 80s when the Bakerloo was cut back to Queen's Park for two years brfoe going back to Harrow.

Possibly - although during the years leading up to 1982, there were only 4 trains each way per day on the Bakerloo north of Queens Park (I think they stopped short workings to Harrow in the late 60's). So having an LT roundel advertising such a service may have seen them removed before 1982.

Those pix on the LTM site showed that stations between Queens Park and Watford Junction had at one time joint LT Underground and LMR maroon BR totems on common 'poles'. Similar signs were at West Ruislip (in WR brown) and at Liverpool Street, Barking and Upminster (in ER blue). I would imagine they disappeared even before NSE days when BR modernised station fascias and general signage.

ITYM [1] 1984 when short workings to Harrow resumed - prior to that they carried on, but I'm far too fluid to search through the WTTs [2] - 1977/8 springs to mind. The Harrow shorts definitely finished in the late 1960's. In 1984 the service to Harrow resumed, although by this time they weren't short workings, because the Bakerloo didn't go any further!

That picture was taken, I believe, in 1984 after the service had been restored to Harrow and Wealdstone.

The picture was taken between June 1984 (when the service to Harrow was re-instated) and November 1985 (when 38TS was withdrawn from the Bakerloo).

Was the 38ts replaced by 59ts or 72mk2 or both?

Was the 38ts replaced by 59ts or 72mk2 or both? The 72mk2's replaced some of the 38's when the Bakerloo had the Stanmore branch, these were transfered to the Jubilee along with the said branch and the truncated Bakerloo carried on with 38's only. 59's replaced some of the 38's a little later on before the jubilee transfered their 72mk2's back to the Bakerloo.

In the early 1970s Watford Junction had unique free-standing pole-mounted plastic exterior signs which depicted the LT roundel, BR double arrow and LCBS symbol. The latter was later replaced by the NBC double-N and appears on page 97 of John A Gray's "London's Country Buses". I suspect all disappeared following the station's rebuilding into an office block.

Looking at the dvd "Bakerloo Line to Watford & Stanmore" at least some of the BR stations north of Harrow & Wealdstone had modern-era exterior joint LT/BR signs. These were divided horizontally between a white BR double-arrow on red and an all-red LT roundel on white. I guess they were removed after the last Bakerloo rush hour trains ceased operating to & from Watford Junction.
