I cycled past Camden Town this morning just before 4am and two Emergency Response Unit vehicles were parked up by the Chalk Farm Road station entrance.
I hope it wasn't anything serious.

Highly unlikely to be anything serious at that time of day - it's more likely that something wrong was found during a night track walk, and the ERU (emergency response unit) have been called in to do a quick repair or something.

There was a message at 2034 last night, saying there was an obstruction on the track at Camden, delays ensued, a good service was operating 45 minutes later. Related perhaps?

Most likely OR as a result of the engineering work. Mystic Simon predicts a defective battery loco - with an over-run for Monday morning.
