During the service suspension yesterday when trains were being reversed at Euston via the loop, I noticed that most were showing "Euston via Bank". However, some were showing "Kings Cross". I am aware that during normal cases of late running, Euston reversers are detrained at Kings Cross to avoid the confusion of passengers at Euston when they find themselves on the other side of the station. I am also aware that some of the 95TS have an updated DVA. Is this the reason or why, or can all the 95TS display both "Euston via Bank" and "Kings Cross". And finally, why does the "Euston via Bank" display not become plain "Euston" after it leaves Kennington - all of the other northbound destinations do!

Well the Euston reversers were starting from Morden, hence the via Bank add on. True, North of Kennington, I dont see the point.
Similarly, S/B trains terminating at Euston, have "Euston via Bank on the train displays, while on the platform indicators, it is either "Euston via Bank, or "Euston not stopping at Mornington Crescent".
As for the Kings Cross display, I can only suggest that some T/ops feel [understandably] that for people going North of Euston, it would be much easier to change at Kings Cross, rather than at Euston, where a long-ish walk is necessary. Most people would think [wrongly] the train would terminate in the N/B platform, rather than the S/B, which is the case.
