Is 96122 one of the new four 1996TS trains?
I think it is, because its brakes sounded different and its doors were much slower than other 96TS I've ridden in the past.

I find that I can recognise the new trains because the motors are a lot quiet when you are in the passenger saloon. Also the fact that the doors are quieter too!

Have anyone notice the Screens, the new ones seem to have Orange text, while the original have red text

Perhaps this could explain why there was no two-note chime when the doors opened on one trip I made on the Jub
I was probably standing in the new middle car - do the new carriages on the Jubilee not have the 'door opening' chimes? Unless the feature had been disabled
I suppose the two-note chime was originally meant to tell passengers when the doors were released (when the passenger open buttons were still in use)

I can tell the new trains by the black rubber floor between the doors (the additional cars also have these), and paradoxically the new trains have the old chequered seat material pattern.

I can tell the new trains by the black rubber floor between the doors (the additional cars also have these), and paradoxically the new trains have the old chequered seat material pattern. The 7th car also have the same specs, bar the old moquette. I preferred the old moquette to the generic Tube Lines corporate stuff. The Mk2 96TS, along with the 7th cars (and being trailer cars, they tend to be a little more quiet) seem peaceful enough, but - and without sounding too cynical - give them a few more months use and they'll be noisy as anything.

Am never sure if the pattern of that moquette is J (for Jubilee) or a steam iron...
