Artery T/Op has just PM'd with details of a Jubbly suspension - Green Park to Canary Wharf. Charing Cross must be seeing the most action it's seen for ages! Am I right in assuming that trains will be reversing via the old terminus?

That is correct - T/Ops will tip out on the south at Green Park (TF), run down to Charing Cross (TG) and berth in the platform, get the stick over the crossover, run back into Green Park on the north and tip in.
Hopefully there will be SAs and a few big hats on the platform to field the inevitable deluge of questions and help the T/Op out.

They will indeed!!!
Detrain at GPK, then run empty to CX and return North. Its used fairly regularly when there is late running. It was last used on Wednesday.

Am I right in assuming that trains will be reversing via the old terminus? The DLR saw the most action! I got to the W/B platform at CW (Jubbly) and there was a (full to the point of bursting) train sat there. Ten minutes later when they announced that services were suspended, everyone bailed off the train and platform up to street level. Heron Quays N/B platform has never bowed so painfully under the weight! It was a ruck to be remembered. People who walked to CW DLR station had no chance. Twas all good fun!

Defective train at Green Park on thursday morning, saw about 8 trains run to CX, late running caused the diversion.

how come they didnt keep Charring Cross open to some Jubilee line passenger traffic initially? I mean surely it would have slightly helped, also it would be nice i guess really.

The service would not operate as efficiently. It would take sufficiently longer for trains to do a full run of a line as they'd have to stop at some point when a train enters or leaves Charing Cross in order to keep the service regulated overall.
