I noticed that on the anorak heaven website there are photos of the new control room does this means the old entrance/exit panel is now history? if so anyone know when the new one took over?

When I visited in November I was told that the new SCC is in normal use, however the old cabin is available for backup use as required - which happens on an occasional basis.

I believe when the line re-opened after the shut down, the new cabin was part of the work that was done while the line was closed.

Can anyone help with a date as to when the new signalling system was commissioned in the new room. I believe there may be a considerable time span from 'first testing' to 'final acceptance', assuming the latter has actually happened.

Hello well i dont think the control room or the signalling computor has been 'final accepted' as the signalling computor still does not work properly and the room still has to be finaly accepted it has alot of stuff to fix yet (how could they get somthing so simple so wrong) ?
