Spurred in by jamesm's request I've been looking through a wide selection of current rail feed diagrams [1], however I'm a bit stuck on the following current ('scuse the pun ) arrangements. Could anyone help, please? Wembley Park Sheds Preston Rd - Wembley Park SB Local Met. (this was brown when Preston Road - Neasden). Wembley Park Jubbly reversing siding. Wembley Park - Neasden SB Jubilee (was green when PRd - Neasden); is this now mauve? Neasden - Wembley Park NB Jubilee (was brown) Neasden No 5 road - still Green/White? Neasden No 4 road North - still White/Mauve/Green? Sorry for the horrifically geeky question! [1] the current rail diagrams for the Central Eastern extensions in 1946-48 are positively exotic in their patterns, but absolutely beautiful works of draughtmanship art.

Ye-ees, sort of. I'm trying to match up the modern set of colour symbols with some of my notes going back to the late 30's - in order to get a listing of the possible symbol colours. You've answered all of them (muchas gracias) apart from the colour of the sections at Wembley Park Sheds and Wembley Park Jubbly turnback - unless my notes are wrong and they're the same colour as where they're fed from, just a different black-and-white symbol. Ta V. Much.

Ta V. Much. Having now had a look at a Black & White version of the traction current diagrams I find that the symbols used for the Wembley Reversing siding are half those used on the Wembley Park - Neasden SB Jubilee and half those used on the Neasden - Wembley Park NB Jubilee section and similarly the Wembley Sheds section is half the symbols of the Preston Road - Neasden SB Fast section and half the symbols of the Preston Road - Wembley Park SB Local section. In both cases this is to reflect the fact that these sidings can be fed from either of the two sections from which its symbols are derived, although the normal feeding arrangements are as given above. When I get the chance at work I shall have a look at the colour versions but I suspect the colours will also be half and half.

Having finally remembered to check the Traffic Controller Diagrams, the present colours of the traction current sections are:
Wembley Park Sheds: Half Yellow, Half Charcoal Preston Rd - Neasden SB Fast: Yellow Preston Rd - Wembley Park SB Local Met: Charcoal Wembley Park Jubbly reversing siding: Half Purple, Half Orange Wembley Park - Neasden SB Jubilee: Purple Neasden - Wembley Park NB Jubilee: Orange
Colours quoted are as listed in the key accompanying the diagram
